Ben Birdsong serves as a writer, speaker, and minister based in Birmingham, Alabama. His goal is to help partner with you and your ministry in reaching your goals by coming alongside you to help you with your publishing project, ministry idea, or deliver clear, creative, and biblical content for your event.
Ben has served in student ministry for 12 years both in local church and the para-church settings.
Ben has bachelors degrees in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Masters of Divinity degree from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry student focusing in Ministry to Emerging Generations from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Ben was licensed and ordained to the ministry at the Church at Brook Hills in July of 2009.
In addition to serving in the local church, Ben also serves as advisory team member for the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association and as the Shelby County Network President and on the Board of Directors for First Priority of Alabama. In the past, Ben has also served on the youth minister advisory board for the YouthMinistry360 publishing company, and on the youth evangelism planning team with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.
Ben is married to Liz, who teaches middle school English/Language Arts and serves as a cheerleading coach. He enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, and good conversations over a drink at Starbucks.
